Bar tape in Coral color?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bar tape in Coral color?

Looking for a manufacturer that might sell bar tape in a coral color. Trying to color match a color accent on my bike. Closest I've seen is the Supacaz Red. Seen it on Ebay advertised as Coral.
Looks awful bright though. Id like something a bit more muted that that.

Any leads?

Supacaz Red

Color of the Year 2019: PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral | Pantone

This is a hard color to match. Go for more contrast instead?

You might be better off showing the color you're trying to match, as opposed to the one that doesn't match.

I don't understand that, just looking for some color options

Sy Reene merely suggests that posting a photograph of your bike showing the accent color might be more helpful than a roll of bar tape having a different color.

Oh, got it. I understand now. I don't know enough about colors to be able to contrast. Accents on my bike are orange/coral color. Maybe I could look at some color palette matching tools?

Sounds like an N+1 problem. You should select the colour bar tape you like and then choose whatever bike happens to match it best.

You'll rule the hot or not thread.

Check Neubaum's for a variety of tape colors. If you can't find a match you like, use a color wheel and go with a complement. That said, black or white will save you from looking too precious.

I think that's the best idea. Now I have to decide which manufacturer offers the best bikes that would go with my bar tape.
Cannondale? Cube? Canyon? All City?
So many choices.

The Neubaum site took me down a memory lane trip. Reminded me of my old 83 Fuji Del Rey. Wish I still had that bike. Lugged frame, cloth bar tape, leather toe clips.

It's very difficult to truly match anything but the most standard colors (red, royal blue, etc.), but many of us with fewer cone receptors (i.e. males) will just go with "close enough" and carry on with life. I have been unhappy with every navy blue tape I have ever tried on my road bike, and am trying to remind myself that it the "brick" color tape from Deda probably won't match my tandem either. White gets dirty tooo easily, so I almost always find myself going for black, but I'll never win the hot or not thread that way,

Anyway, a little googling tells you what might contrast coral well.
https://nylonliving.com/colors-that-...and%20optimism.

But I also vote for seeing a pic of the bike and its accents.
