What was Scott thinking? 2012 paint is pretty awful.

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This one is pretty decent except the RD is screaming in pain.

The other ones are understated and don't make me throw up in my mouth a little. I kind of dig the one with the dura-ace crankset.

holy CRAP is that a LW RD?
AX cockpit?

Gotta be under 5 kilos easy. I'm thinking 4000-4500 grams depending on how light those wheels/tubs are.

What size ring are you running? And why so small?

Yeah...it's around 4.5kg. Wheels are ~820gr. The ring is a fibrelyte 33t...the bike is mainly for hill climbing fun/repeats.

I completely agree with your assessment. This kind of reminds me of the 2006 Cannondale R700.

My LBS did not sell ONE that year, because everyone thought the colors were ugly. They finally got rid of them in 2007, with STEEP discounts.

That's awesome.

I wouldn't say the new paint scheme is ugly, but it looks like it belongs on a cheap bike.

They look like Specialized's paint jobs circa 2009.
