Seated good morning, roman chair, or both?

I am doing seated good mornings.

Would there be any advantage to getting a roman chair? I think there is, but I'm not sure.

Thx.

My computer was down for a couple of weeks, didn't see this.
Both.
I go to a gym, free with Medicare Advantage, so I use a Roman chair there. Yes, a Roman chair helps, strengthens the hip flexors and lower abs. But I think one could get an equivalent workout using ankle weights. Put them both on one leg and standing braced against a wall, raise that leg to horizontal thigh and do reps to exhaustion. Who knows, that might even be better as it's closer to cycling.

Rather than Good Mornings, I use a machine at the gym which works my back through a larger range of motion, my feet braced against a support. Kills my legs at the same time. This is the one exercise I don't do to exhaustion, just until my back tires. I couldn't guess at the effectiveness w/r to Good Mornings.
