Yakima Beddyjo 2

I am thinking about buying the Yakima Beddyjo 2rack for the bed of my new truck. I need to know if it works with a Ford F-150 with 5.5 ft bed. I am unsure the bed will be long enough for my mountain bike with 29 inch wheels. I am pretty sure it will work with my Cervelo road bike since it is shorter than my mountain bike. Anyone have and experience here?

It gets good reviews on Amazon from what I could tell. Wouldn't it be easier to take the front wheel off and see if it sits all the way in the bed of the truck then asking and waiting on an answer here?

The mountain bike will fit in the bed with the front wheel removed. I already tried that but the fork is about 8 inches from the tailgate. I think I will go ahead and order it and give it a try.
