Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes and we can post freely without cat calls from certain furry creatures. I have their first 5 or 6 albums in digital format. After that it was about over for them in terms of quality. I'm all about quality (and a clean colon) as is widely known here.

I don't know what most of that is, are you sure you're not a Billy goat inside of LOP's body? Whatever it is if you are under 35 years old you would slather it with ranch dressing. Ranch, the new ketchup!

I was not a big fan when they came out but some of their stuff grew on me. Seems they are a totally different band after 1970-something with all original members gone.

The prep was a nothing burger. Way overrated. I found it to be a minor inconvenience and not worthy of stopping an important screening procedure.

This message needs to get out and "talking up" the prep as some massive undertaking isn't helpful. Of course YMMV.

That was Lennon solo material. I'm not a fan of his solo catalog. To each his own.

Back to almost normal after COVID booster + Shingrix on Wednesday. May actually BE normal, but when I get sick, I tend to forget what fully normal feels like! One thing I can say is that "normal" for me these days is better than it was before I started riding so much and lost the weight.

Riding tomorrow!

I haven't done that analysis. But, 2019 wasn't a big year for the shop. Bike industry tends to be counter-cyclical, pandemics notwithstanding.

That being said, my sense, based on the full-year 2019 numbers, is that things are slower this year.
