How do you like your Valencia? I just bought one after taking a few bikes for spins around the parking lot at the LBS I've gone to for a while. I really liked the feel of it. Then, like a week later, Trek discontinued it, except for the hybrid, oops, I mean electric, version, for 2011? I have been having a blast on it?

I had some funny looks and comments from all the carbon-riding roadies based on my choice of bike on that long long ride, but the bike handled it like a champ, certainly better than I did.

I rode my first ever Metric (62 miles) and my first ever 100 miler on my Novara Forza hyrbid.
It really was the bike that showed me the way to long distance. I don't take her out of the barn much anymore, but she will always have a place in my heart.
Now days my road bike gets all the love.

80 miles in a day, stopping for water and snacks. The goal was 250 miles over 4 days from Clinton, MO to St. Louis, MO, but we got stormed out.
I've had the 7.3 for a day. I've been riding for about 2 months now.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Have taken my hybrid on moderately paced century rides (160km) and found it to be a really good long distance bike... my commute can be 110 km and have taken the Trek out for that although I prefer my folder for this and longer distances as it is more stable when I am carrying a ton of gear.
It is also a little faster as it offers a more aero, yet very comfortable riding position.

There was a guy on a folder who finished the 185km route of the Tour de Alberta in about 5.5-6 hours. He wizzed right past me about 20km into the ride.

Sixty-some mile charity ride on a refurbished curb side Royce Union - took a while since I broke a spoke or two ;-/
Second longest, 57 miles during a Half-Ironman triathlon (had a better bike by then!)

single day = 88 miles
3-day charity tour = 225 miles
As of May 2009, my longest ride was 18 miles. By October 2009, I rode consecutive days of 88, 82, and 55, with a cumulative 10,000 feet of climbing. I now do 18 to 20 as a "short" ride before work 2 or 3 days a week. It is amazing what a difference a year can make, if you work at it.

102 miles at last year's NY Century, on my old, steel Trek 750.
This year I've already done a 72 miler, several of 60+ and 50+ rides. The next NY100 is in two weeks, so I'll see if I'm up to another 100+

I'm 57 and have only been riding since June 1. My longest so far is 58 miles (93.3 kilometers) a couple of weeks ago and only stopping for snacks and drinks. Planning to do 70 miles (112.6 kilometers) soon working up to do a century.

I just started riding again and it's for school commuting so... ~ 9miles (one way) without stopping. Nowhere NEAR as impressive as some of the other distances listed here.

64 hilly miles on my 7.5FX (Chelsea One Helluva Ride), I also wanted to do a 100 mile ride, but I didn't find an organized ride that fit my schedule this year. Next year I want to do the Findley Horizontal Hundred.
