Best book?
I've had 'Richards Bicycle Book' for years and that gave me a good start, but a lot has changed since then -
I'd rather not buy both Zinn books, but I'd like a good reference to keep my MTB, road bike and fixie in good shape.

I've never owned any books, but the ParkTool website has a great section on bike maintenance and repair. I'd go browse that site and see if it fits your needs before spending the extra money on a new book.

+1, park's website is really really good. It seems like they've redone the site in the past month or two though and there's less instruction now. Maybe they're just migrating all of their info to the new website though. I have the Zinn book and it's pretty good, but I find myself going to the Park site or random youtube videos more often than the book.
