Serial numbers for Raleighs and others built at Nottingham?
I've been meaning to ask this for a while: Is there a directory of serial numbers for Raleighs and other brands built at Nottingham in the 1950s? My 1952 Rudge Aero Special's number is BV65732, which does not agree with the format given in Sheldon's lists, for 1952. Anyone here with another Rudge Aero Special Model 127, or a Raleigh Super Lenton model 27? These are supposed to be essentially identical, so maybe the serializations are similar? Were they made in a special section of the Nottingham shop, kind of like Schwinn Paramounts?

Have you looked here:
https://www.kurtkaminer.com/TH_raleigh_serials.html
as your number matches the "Convention 2" pattern for 1953.
