I hate big brush fires -- there are few things worse than breathing in all that acrid smoke. (Been there ... done that in 2003 and 2007. My property was never threatened, but my lungs certainly were.)

Late yesterday afternoon, even Broomfield (halfway between Denver & Boulder) was hazy and smoky. But by late evening it had cleared out. This morning it is overcast, but I can't tell if it is just clouds, or smoke haze.

John E., 2003 was especially bad where I was in La Mesa. We stayed inside for 2-3 days, I wasn't riding then but talk about cabin fever with a 2 year old... Bad, very bad for the lungs would never ride in that or do any strenuous workouts.
