Top of the line? This bike is a 1973 Raleigh Record with Schrader valves, it was Raleigh's bottom of the line road bike back then.

Bridgestone Anchor Njs Track Bike Frame - $350 (San Diego)

https://offerup.com/item/detail/1627579199

IDK why they'd name it "Anchor" haha. I don't think I've ever seen one before anyway.

From the seller:
Frame with headset RARE
Bridgestone anchor steel frame 52 (wht/silver)
Imported from Japan njs stamped frames are bikes used in japans keirin races a large gambling sport that takes place on a velodrome throughout Japan. Due to strict inspections small imperfections lead to the bikes becoming decommissioned and eventually private parties import them into the states. which is how this frame came to be.

Has been ridden and shows some scuffs and a little paint chips here and there but the frame it’s self has no major visible damage! which is rare considering most frames get imported after a wreck on the track resulting in huge dents on the tubes.

Njs dura ace headset
Njs frame

Cheap Treks abound in Trekland.

Vintage Trek Road Bike - $150 (Edina)

CL MN Trek

1983 Trek 600 - amazing condition on it's 40th birthday. 12 Speed, 21" Frame. Reynolds 531 C double butted manganese frame, Sun Tour derailleurs, new tires, leather seat in great condition. I purchased this bike several years ago with plans to display in my garage - time for it to find another home. Just looked up similar bikes on eBay and all were over $500.

I can't see the picture with enough detail to see what you're seeing, the picture I have is fuzzy, not like other pics on this site, so it has to be the poor quality photo, and no photo of the model can be seen.

The paint color and the painted fork all resembles this
https://www.kurtkaminer.com/1973raleighcat_12_lg.jpg

And the specs say this:
https://www.kurtkaminer.com/1973raleighcat_22_lg.jpg

Please feel free to correct the model and year of your bike, that would be helpful

l
It's a terrible photo, but it does looks like a '70s professional. Classtime is right about the Campy parts - the front hub oil clip is a big clue that we're looking at a Record-equipped bike. Brake levers and crankset also look to be Record.

According to what I'm finding in my research for another bike that looks identical, that's not a Grizzly. Looks like it sold anyways.

Yup, I noticed that too. I replied on here just after my original post with some further info..

Ah, good catch, I missed that response.

If anyone does have any more info on this bike I'd love to hear it. I read the same stuff about it being an Alaskan, but Google really returns nothing about that model at all. I also read elsewhere that the a Bianchi Alaska model was made in Canada. Either way, it's definitely a cool looking bike. This site has a ton of pictures of the same bike: https://johns-recycled-bicycle.blogs...i-atb-mtb.html

Belongs to a Forum member and has been for sale for a long time now. Somebody build this thing up.

CL Detroit Moto
1971 Motobecane Grand Record. Reynolds 531 tubing. 60cm square ctc. Forged Campagnolo drop outs and fork tips. Stronglight competition headset. French threaded bottom bracket. Top tube looks like it has a pretty major ding, which must have bummed somebody out pretty badly when it happened(!). I think I've seen one of these before somewhere. Not my kind of thing (nothing against Pinarellos), but thought I'd post it for the novelty.

That ding pic is not the Pin, it has cable clips, seams and is silver not gold.
