Bianchi Aria Opinions
I came across a description of the Bianchi Aria, a carbon fiber bike with a racing geometry, on Bianchi's Web site. It matches exactly what I'm looking for in my next bike. Unfortunately, it appears that this bike is not available in the USA. (Please correct me if I'm wrong about that.). The Aria is available online from an Italian company called Ciclimatto. I've made small purchases from them and was pleased with their service. I'd appreciate hearing opinions about both the Aria and large purchases from Ciclimatto. Also, are there any caveats for buying a bike that is not sold domestically? All the components are readily available in the US. Thanks in advance.

The Aria has been available in the U.S. for the past few years. I test rode one down at the Bicycle Stand in Long Beach 2 years ago. There are several used ones listed on local craigslist and offerup as well. I'd call your local Bianchi dealer and see if they can order you one. Bike Attack in Playa Vista and The Bicycle Stand in Long Beach are two options. I'm sure there are more down in the OC... The Bianchi Sprint is another similar option (I went with the Sprint instead of the Aria, as the Aria was a little too stiff...).

I think the sprint replaced it. The Aria wasn't that popular its too stiff. I went the Oltre XR3 route which is a good choice, the CV helps alot with dampening compared to the Aria. I'd only use an Aria as a dedicated crit bike
