Bothell Ski and Bike?
Any experiences, good, bad, or indifferent?

Only time I talked to them was to complain that the race team they sponsor rides double pacelines on the I-90 bridge. (Rode me into the side rail, twice).
They blew me off, so thought I would mention it here. I decided not to patronize them as a result.

I really like Bothell Ski and Bike. They are my LBS. Both of the owners are super nice guys and have been very helpful. They have always treated me well whether it was fixing a broken spoke and truing a wheel half an hour before they opened or cutting my daughter’s ski poles to length because their shortest pole was too long for a four year old. I really can’t say enough good things about them. I don’t know anything about their race team, but the shop is great. When I bought my new bike I was really bummed that they didn’t sell Specialized so I had to buy it elsewhere.

I was in their location approximately 2 months a go and had a very positive experience. The sales guy I spoke with was pleasant and the reair tech was able to make recommendations after patiently listening to my friend explain what what he was attempting to do with his bike.
Granted, this is just one situation, but if they were closer to me, I wouldn't hestitate throwing my business their way...

I went in there once or twice when I lived nearby a few years ago and was never impressed, haven't been back for a long time though. Been going to Woodinville Bicycles lately, and they've been great and are now my preferred shop within my immediate area.

I recently had a very nice experience at this shop. I talked to several guys in my multi-visit process of vetting, test-riding, purchasing, and fitting my new bike. I was impressed that even the younger guys had a certain quality of service attitude that made the experience pleasant.
When they were setting up my bike (which was special-ordered), they phoned me for exact build specs as far as stem placement, etc and then worked with me for awhile trying various seats. I'll definitely be using them from now on! I was also impressed that many of their accessories were competively priced with larger retailers so that I'm not even really paying a premium to shop local.
Good job guys! (and if you're reading this, I'm loving my BH G5)

I had a great experience through ordering a year old bike at closeout, as well as some mechanical issues I couldnt quite figure out. I think the store is run very well and everyone I speak to in there is friendly and very much so down to earth.
BikeSale the team, on the other hand.... the team seems huge to me. I spoke to some guys before the race, as they had a good 12 people in the field... and some didnt even know each other.
