Mounting canti-rack on non-canti bike- Sunlite Gold Tec Mini
Hi, I've got a question regarding the Sunlite Gold Tec Mini Front Rack. Has anyone here mounted it on a non-cantilever bike? I'm sure it's possible with a couple p-clips, but I just wanted to see how others have done it before I decide to order one.
From what I can tell, it would simply be a matter of removing the mounting bits that normally attach to the cantilever braze-ons, and then bolting the rack to some p-clips instead.
Thanks!
P.S. I may as well ask, for those who have purchased and used it, how do you like the rack? I've got a little trunk bag to put to use.

I had one of those on a bike with canti brakes but overloaded it a bit by strapping a wire basket to the platform. During one commute, the flimsy bracket to the brake bolt snapped and the whole thing rotated forward, jamming against my front tire. Fortunately, I was going slow at the time and managed not to take a header. But if one were to use this rack, best to replace that thin stamped steel bracket with something sturdier.

It wouldn't be on a bike with cantis and I'd be attaching a Wald to it so I'm beginning to shy away. I have the rack mounted to a Blackburn-ish rack now but without upper/mid-fork stays it's wobbly when loaded. May need a VO or Nitto.
