SRAM chains: PC1170 vs PC1190 vs SRAM RED
Does anybody know what are the differences between SRAM PC 1170 and 1190 chains? Also - is 1190 the so called "SRAM RED" chain?
I noticed that 1190 is advertised as being some 10-15 gr lighter than 1170 (which is not relevant) and costs around 2-3 EUR more (again not relevant). Is that all?
Thanks

Yes, the 1090, "red" level is a little more expensive, a little lighter and a little more sparkly when new and clean. My experience is that I like the sparkliness and along with the weight makes it worth the additional price. But the sparkliness goes away quickly unless you're obsessively meticulous about keeping your chain clean "like new" as opposed to just functionally clean and lubed.
