Used tandem bike by KHS - Tanemania Roma. Has Shimano XT rear derailer, Shimano Ultegra front derailer and shifters. Rim brakes. It might needs new tires. Not sure about the size. I'm 6'-3" and wife is 5'-4" and fits us. Can be adjusted for other sizes.

I think the OP got it right I believe that is an Araya Aero bike - If I am remembering correctly they are called half-lugs? I asked the same question before

Terry O’Sell custom made Tandem Bycicle for sale! Terry Is considered one of the true master bike builders of America. Terry only built around 100 frames so his tandems are extremely rare and hard to find. Carbon fiber frame Shimano RD SRStem Sugino gt cranks Huret brake levers Suntour bar end shifters Suze high flange hubs with touring rims 4 water bottle mounts New saddles New tires New bar wrap Nice rear rack for touring Front forks are O’Sell exclusive double fork crown with rack mounts Bike has front and rear rim brakes and a very rare drum brake on the rear activated by the stroker. The frame measures 56cm crank to seat post for the captain and 50cm for the stroker. We’re hoping to find this bike a new home. Get this beautiful example of a tandem built by a true bike legend for only $600. The frame is worth more than that by itself.

This seller doesn't usually have high $ prices, he has a set of Mavic wheels listed for $20, might get this for a good price?

He's been trying to sell this bike for nearly 5 years now. I remember him asking $1500 at the start and just last month $1K.

I actually saw this bike at the whittier swapmeet this morning. Its in rough shape nowhere near 1K worth.

Wow, missed that, based on the other ads I thought there might have been a bargain to be had. I wouldn't have expected this seller at the bike swap. Thanks for the first hand report.

That is what it looks like, Araya Aero 821 possibly. The bars look like the ones missing on pastorbobnlnh Lotus Super Aero Pro (Maybe he wants them back, ), the rims look like non-original clinchers of some sort.

I just looked again, the top bar is pretty damaged. Might be a good group donor, if you can stand that Dyna Drive crank.

Ciocc - $1,400 - Scotts Valley, CA
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...929684146648/?
from ad: 1978 59cm Ciocc San Cristobal road bike "This was my bike during my later racing years. I was a cat 1 rider on this bike. I road this bike in the 1983 World Pro Road Championship. I was a teamate of Greg Lemond, who won that year."
I am assuming this is overpriced based on condition and missing parts?

Yes that's a lot of $$$ for something (probably) repainted and not ready to ride.
OTOH it IS an "early-ish" CIOCC and likely a San Cristobal with those "pintail lugs" but not sure about it being as early as 1978 given the seatstay panto which has the "point" on the capital "C", cannot see enough detail in the forkcrown logo either, but an early SC should have had a fair amount of chrome and this frame has none!
Not a common CIOCC color plus no decals: respray.

Certainly there’s a lot of braze-on for 1978, it’s a little fishy with under bb cabling.

perhaps it was modified, but an original owner would probably say this in an add.

Aero tubing lugs, some of the earlier one's, may have been supplied with the tube set.
