My 3 Speed AMF Roadmaster "Nimble" Restoration. (done)

So i have been wanting a 3 speed for quite a while, and saw an ad for one on CL on the cheap, the lady said she didn't know much about the bicycle, and that the gears weren't working. I went over, gave it a little ride, was amused at the lack of paint damage, and took it home. Wheels & brakes rusted, no match for a little oxalic acid

Original Bike

Rims

Rims after acid

Bike completed, 3 speed working (shimano.)

And now its my ride around the block.

& one last thing, the freewheel doesn't spin very well, i have been killing it with wd40 but to no avail. any tips?

Thanks.

Does the Shimano hub have an oil port? A little 20 or 30 weight oil may help.

Probably not, but you can remove the shifter push rod, lay the wheel/bike on it's side and put oil down the axle shaft.
