Windblocker Fleece?

A few years ago I bought a windblocker fleece pullover from Nashbar that had the windblocker layer on the front ONLY. It was a great piece of clothing for cycling........down to about 40 degrees. Unfortunately, it is now pretty well trashed and I'd like to buy something similar but I can't find anything. All the windblocker fleece I find now has the windblocker layer front and BACK, which is no good for cycling.

Does anyone know where I can get a fleece jacket/pullover with the windblocker layer on the front only?

I have a Pearl Izumi Barrier fleece jacket that is windblocker on the front only. Works great in cool weather.

I went to the Mountain Hardwear site, and the fleece jackets look really nice, but I don't see a single one that has windblocker layer on the front only. Fleece without a windblocker layer is useless as cold weather gear without a shell. Fleece with windblocker on both front and back will quickly leave you drenched when used for cycling.

Talk to Lou Binik at Foxwear. He made one for me, custom fit and hand made in the USA (Idaho), called the E Vap Lite Jacket. You can mix and match materials to your specification.

foxwear.net

I don't get a cent for promoting Foxwear products. I do it because I've been wearing his stuff for years and it works.

Holy Crap! That looks great.....and cheaper than the name brands!

Like I said, I really like the fleece with the windblocker on the front. It works well in dry, cool weather, it's light and doesn't make any noise.

I have a Gore Bike Wear soft shell with their Windstopper. The sleeves zip off, leaving a vest with short sleeves. I love the versatility and the Windstopper fabric works grea.
