Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Besides, bladed spokes are *way* faster.
They make silver Sharpies. That's what I use on black spokes and to mark tubes for patching

Very nice ride yesterday, beautiful day. 42 miles after work. Traffic was very busy but only one or two idiots. Going to miss that.

Maybe, but recall I was a second year medical student who had to be sharp and learn too much info in too little time. The beer might have been a barrier.

I was away for their first two games so saw none of them. They look terrible. And I learned last night that they lost Brandon Graham for the season in one of the first two games. That's certainly not going to help.

The more analogous question is do musicians normally decorate their houses for Christmas in September?

Maybe we should sting up some lights and decorate a tree to the practice room to add spirit?

Worked for me when I went up to 260#. Though I had stopped drinking when I separated my shoulder and gained 35# in 6 months. That time it was mostly ice cream.

I thought it obvious, but for lay people who don't get it--in order for musicians to be ready to perform to the public when the masses are ready to hear Christmas music, they have to practice the music earlier in the year. It's the way things go.

I guess Dillards has just been practicing how to decorate for Christmas.

If rumours about the supply chain are not overblown, you might want to buy your Christmas goodies soon. LAJ

So I am shopping for aluminum rim wheels to go with the new Habanero build. I have a message out to Psimet, but he seems kinda busy. I am also looking at Bicycle Wheel Warehouse, they have some decent offerings at my budget.

Anyone have experience with BWW? I am too lazy to search and to scared to ask in the 41.

edit: search shows some reviews are really good and some not-so-good. Pretty much par for the course.
