Picked up a new FSA 50t chain ring to replace my original one which I think I accidentally bent slightly last time I was taking it apart for cleaning. $22 on sale today at Nashbar.

I've been going nuts again.
So my Vigorelli (with SRAM Omnium crankset) came Tuesday:
And a new bike needs new wheels, right!?! So I bought some of these yesterday (h plus son archetypes laced to phil hubs):
And gotta get some components because the ones in the parts bin just won't do, so 3T Ergonova Pro's and Arx stem it is!
A new chain and some caleido tape...
And a brake because I suck at skidding.
PBK has the Arundel Dual's onsale for $12, so got two more of those so all of my bikes match now.
Throw in another 6 latex tubes to round out the PBK order...
...now just need to get a seatpost for the vig and I should be good to go. Can't wait to get it built up so I can snap some photos of it...and ride it.

When this one came out for a much more affordable price, I jumped on it. My other fixed bike is a Bikes Direct cheapie, it was heavy and just not all that fun to ride. When I got my road bikes, they kind of took over. I like riding fixed though and I think it will be good training on my legs and cadence, which will hopefully pay of on the road bikes.

I was kind of looking for something with the celeste color.. I just bought the shimano dura ace c24 wheels to go with my new bike... kinda sucks when you make so many upgrades at once, but these wheels seem great for climbing! My bibs are the Castelli Velocissimo DS Bib Shorts the chamios is a little small. I would like to find a brand that made a decent size chamios.

Well, while I think you can find something in Celeste I think you should go for something with Euro flare in general. You don't want to stick to only one color because that will limit the availability of kits. Just because the bike is celeste doesn't mean that everything else has to be. I got screwed because everything I own is black and red due to my roubaix being black and red. Now I ride a Rabobank TCR in orange and blue and guess what the combo sucks.. but I have too nice of things make the switch or buy anything else and honestly, I don't care what I am wearing as long as I am comfortable and FAST!
Good choice on the DA c24. Good climbing wheels. Next up is a set of C50s
Here are some helmets that I thought might be of interest. I'd wear the crap out of this helmet with the jacket that my fiancee got me for Valentine's.

It is expensive and a little on the heavy side. I wanted the KOM version, went to try it on and it was a real quality helmet. Leather straps make it feel fancy. However the KOM issue was discontinued so didn't get it. I can get it at a local shop for 20% off which is something good so it would have come to 255 with tax, which is still very expensive but you are getting a top of the line helmet i.e. Prevail or Aeon.

My new 6800 Ultegra groupset arrived today. Unfortunately my new bars, stem, and saddle won't be here for 2 weeks.
This morning I built up the 11spd Stan's/BHS wheelset to go with the new build. They hit the scale at under 1300g. I've had farts that have weighed more.
