I have a Miyata Seven-Twelve Bike
Hi,
I have a Miyata Seven Twelve bike that is in great condition. I am trying to sell it and am wondering how much it is worth. Anyone out there know the value of this type of bike?
Thanks in advance for the help!

That's a big one.

That appears to be a 1988 in pretty good shape. Assuming better pictures confirm it is stock and in good shape, I would guess it is worth in the neighborhood of $200 to $250. It is comparable to a Centurian Ironman, without the cache. Of course, a lot depends on location. If you live in a college town, this is the worst time of year to be a seller.

Graduation just occurred and all the graduates are moving out and selling their bikes. Most of the rest of the students have left for the summer. While Austin has a population of about a million, losing 40,000 potential buyers makes the market pretty tough. An experienced flipper buys in May and sells in late August.
