I have a Miyata Seven-Twelve Bike

Hi,
I have a Miyata Seven Twelve bike that is in great condition. I am trying to sell it and am wondering how much it is worth. Anyone out there know the value of this type of bike?

Thanks in advance for the help!

If you post photos, people can give you an idea.

I just posted a picture. If you think other shots would be helpful, let me know what you need to see. Thanks in advance for the help.

That's a big one.

That appears to be a 1988 in pretty good shape. Assuming better pictures confirm it is stock and in good shape, I would guess it is worth in the neighborhood of $200 to $250. It is comparable to a Centurian Ironman, without the cache. Of course, a lot depends on location. If you live in a college town, this is the worst time of year to be a seller.

Perhaps this is true in Austin, where the temperatures have already soared, but definitely the best time to sell in Ann Arbor.

Graduation just occurred and all the graduates are moving out and selling their bikes. Most of the rest of the students have left for the summer. While Austin has a population of about a million, losing 40,000 potential buyers makes the market pretty tough. An experienced flipper buys in May and sells in late August.
