Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My favourite part is where they say "pricing is not yet announced."

Not as nice looking to me as C-Record from the 80s.

Somehow I don't think this one will age quite as well as the others.

Not a fan of the later Ergo shape with the horns...

For mine, one of the sexiest-looking groups ever was 6400, pwned only by 7700. Although both groups are spoilt by the STIs... replace with 9s Ergos for ultimate porn.

Hang on a sec, lookie here:

Mostly 6400 with 7700 RD and front brake, plus 9s Ergos

As for a more modern look, I dig SRAM.

I want to know about the new carbon finish technique. That could be interesting.

I'm willing to bet the group looks MUCH BETTER in person or even better, dangling from a frame vs a low res picture on a computer screen.

OTOH I'm not really digging the logo. I'm withholding judgement until I see it in the wild.

Oh yeah, when it comes to external BB cranks, aesthetically Campy / SRAM > Shimano.
