Hill Topper

New to Bike Forums and ebikes so feel free to tee off if this has been asked a thousand times. Reside in socal and ebikes are really taking off here. Why isn't there more interest on this site?
Anyone try a Hill Topper recently. This seems like an ideal set-up for my needs since it would add less than 10 pounds to my 20 pound SS bike and provide a little assist when needed.

Sorry, should have checked old threads first, and would have except that I wanted recent experience since this field seems (TO ME) to be so dynamic.. Saw enough to avoid this company. Thanks anyway.

I've had Hilltopper kits on my wife's and my bike for almost a year now. No complaints, work great.

I am thinking of doing this with my day 6, love the bike but it's tough on hills. The bike is great on the flat without, the Electra pedal one left me feeling like I got less exercise plus it didn't feel as solid a bike. I wish I had the money to simply order a new day 6 in electric but I am not flush with cash.
So my question is for the people above, do you still like the set up? and are there and caveats?

I opted out on the HP. Lower power and I didn't like the "push-button" throttle.
