Anyone cycling to the South Pole?

I think this must be one of the most extream cycling expeditions I have heard of in a long time https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16345232

The bike looks like some kind of moon buggy with those huge tires.

"The US Army use similar bikes in the Middle East," says Fortune.

Iditarod: https://www.alaskaultrasport.com/alas...home_page.html

But the Iditarod is in Alaska, in the north ... and they're full for 2012.

Maybe the Susitna still has room: https://www.susitna100.com/

At least it's summer here (and in Antarctica). It's probably almost balmy down there.

Bikes: I never learned to ride a bike. It is my deepest shame.

OK, I am back. Not much to see there. Big waste of time, really.
