Commuting to band gigs.

This my method on gigs where I don't need too much gear.

Ikea trailer, dynamo lights on the bike.

Hold on. Let me squeeze my Ampeg SVT and 8x10 cab in there with your stuff. Thanks!

Old joke - a musician drives $5000 worth of equipment in a $500 car (bike?) to a gig to make $50.

Pretty cool setup, actually. I would just be worried about rain and people seeing you coming home at 2am with all that fancy equipment.

Do you find the bike ever helps you get closer to the door you bring your stuff in through than a car?

Switch to drumming ?. I know, I know, you’d have to give up being a musician,

Oooof. That is my ideal gig bike. Almost got a Raleigh Competition in that color pretty much with the plan being real close to your build there including the gearing.

Back when I was still gigging I pulled my B15 & J Bass on a Burley flatbed with a Miyata 310.

I'm a singer, so there isn't much for me to carry. I remember once I rode to a concert in a New Jersey suburban area where not many people ride bikes. I wore a tux and a bow tie. Some people laughed at me, so that was fun. I rode my old English 3-speed. Wouldn't it be cool if there were a helmet that looked just like a top hat?

I do live audio production. One some-what regular gig is less than 5 miles from the house.
If it isn't raining I like to ride. Earbuds, a tablet for digital mixer control, DMM and a mini pack of tools; everything else is there.
