My New Project One
It finally arrived today and man I can't wait to bring it home. I have to work tonight then go in for fitting tommorow. Took some pics today in the shop, not the best but you'll get the idea. This is one sweet looking ride in person, pictures really don't do it justice. I can't wait to get this thing on the road. Worst part is I have to work all weekend.

I'm sure you will love the ride, but sorry, but that's fugly. I'm no Trek hater (madone 5.2 owner). I like the blue & gold (i'm a huge cal fan) but all that red? Red hoods?? And different colored tires? Wow...

I wanted it over the edge and I will be switching tyres so colour is out on both sides. I know it's not everyone cup of tea but I find mono coloured bike fugly and boring, well this may be fugly but not boring.

Nice bike. Aside the the flames, it really looks beautifully made. What componentry does it have? How much did it cost?
Edit: I like the yellow. I think yellow sidewalls on the tires would look nice.

sweet bike, it does scream Jeff Gordon to me though.
Not that it matters when you're flying by people on this bike....it might be appropriate actually.

Yes. Let the frame stand on its own. No need to try and compliment it with matching components. That usually ends in a disasturous pile of almost-but-not-quite-matching shades of colors that ultimately detracts from the centerpiece.
