Since I dismissed the ride earlier, I reached the finish line stone wall first.

Great ride today. Glad we could get together again. It’s been too long.

Well, folks - COVID has saved me the trouble of deciding whether to do the Mt Hamilton ride this Saturday. Have a great time, all those who go.

Take it easy and don't push it too hard too fast. I ramped too fast after my last bought of COVID and ended up down for the count for 6 months.

Still positive, but asymptomatic for at least 2 days. Time to start easy.

Hey, didn't somebody say, on our last C&V ride, that they were looking for a Lotus Supreme in pink? There's a frame on Ebay. It's pink, and it has the original Dura Ace EX headset, but I think that's about it. If it was Gorman, though - too bad, because it's a 60cm.

EDIT: It's local, too - available for local pickup in Berkeley.

Hey, Gang! Tomorrow is the first Saturday in May! The roads are dry, so no mud spatter to clean up afterwards!

Can you believe it? It's supposed to friggin' RAIN tomorrow!

Aw, hell.

I just got back from a business trip, have a new (to me) bike I was going to work on to make ridable for tomorrow, looked at the forecast, then used some of my NSFW words.

Next week?

Mike

That's what I'm thinking.

I got those new reproduction Sante hoods from the guy in Poland for my Schwinn, but I ran into a problem with the rear brake cable pinch bolt. I have parts on the way to resolve it, and it should be all fixed by then so I can show it off. Also, I'll be one week more recovered from that mild case of COVID.
