Isn't only available in French? I did want to read it, but that would be a problem for me.

The Gitane USA forums had some reviews by one of the French members. I'll definitely get the book in English as it's got some good juicy stuff in it and is supposedly a good read.

The thread is here

Planning to - on my (long and distinguished) list of books to be read. Probably going to go through a French period here and read it after The Collapse of the Third Republic by William Shirer and The Complete Memoirs of Charles de Gaulle.

What do you remember of him? I don't remember much, but I remember him making some noise about how it was his turn to win, especially since he was French, and he was angry Lemond beat him. It seemed pretty snotty to me.

It's not a bad read. He was pissed off about Lemond wheel sucking and cheating his way to the 1989 Tour win ahahahahaha. French cycling needs more arrogant aloof champions, rather than the arrogant mugs and donkeys they currently have.

I got my book at amazon.co.uk. I don't think amazon.com had it in stock.
