Knowing the stack height would help it move along, not that it's needed. Those are relatively shallow for those who needed IIRC.
Great seller BTW

I picked some A9 bearings for my Mooney's HS. Current bearings have 25,000 miles should be dying tomorrow. Ride like brand new but I think they do that expiration date thing and overnight turn to dust so I'm taking precautions. (On my headstone "He tried to outlive his A9".)

One bike has over 60,000 miles, and the other only has about 55,000 miles.
I wonder what they look like when they are almost worn out?
This is from the recent overhaul of the bike with 60k miles...

I'm still waiting to find out what the lifetime of my Stronglight Delta headsets are. These are basically the same as the A9, but with some o-ring seals.

I worked in a bike shop in New Orleans in the 80s. New Orleans is famous for its food and music. A little known fact about the city is that it may be the best testing grounds in the USA for headsets. The city is built on mud and consequently the roads have world class bumps and pot holes. We saw all kinds of headsets get damaged by those roads at the bike shop but not the Stronglight A9s.
