$240 seems like a Topeka, KS Goodwill auction price for this pristine, nos-like 105 Univega.

Could you provide some measurements:
Top Tube, Seat Tube, Standover.
Stunner, looks fast standing still.

Beautiful bike. The chain appears to be a 1/8" (track, fixie, bmx) chain.

Very nice, but clearly not "showroom condition."
That KMC chain looks out of place. Best to replace it with a period-correct 6sp Shimano version.

Sure does appear to be a 1/8" width chain.
I saw this bike on the LA craigslist this morning.
Price was a bit less even.

After dealing with 7.1s and narrower for so long, a 7.8 mm 5-6 speed chain looks an awful lot like a 8.0+ singlespeed chain. I've made that error when quickly sorting chains and then caught it later when trying to splice them (nope, they don't like each other that much).

OP's chain is using a snap clip master link. Nothing to me, but might not play well with a derailleur setup.
