If I were you I'd start worrying more about the planes and less about the departure times.

Do I get the day off if that happens?

Sometimes.
In an efficient system the buyer would spend the money getting exactly what he wants, rather than the seller spending money on what he thinks a future buyer might want.

My Dad used to take me slot car racing. I won a Honda S65 there (sweepstakes, not from skill). My Mom said no way your riding a motorcycle. A few years later she OK'd that ^.
At 18 I started racing motocross. My first bike was a Maico 400, back when there were no mufflers. First time I started it in the driveway, it scared the crap out of her.

It was tough to get money for track time so I would hang out at the track and watch others.
When I was about 28 I bought a Maico 490. So much fun to ride but the transmission blew apart and it got to be a pita.

The seller spends money to make the house more attractive to potential buyers. Whether this increases the seller's profit varies, but here people get into bidding wars.

Beach and back today. Got a flat rear tire on the way back. So I set about to change the tube. It's been a while since I've had one on the road. And it's the first one on the Dirty Trek. Which is probably why I had the wrong pump with me. This was a bad Amazon purchase that I got stuck with. It's got a Schrader valve head on it. Ffs! I started walking after changing the tube (was a large chunk of glass) after a couple of minutes I disassembled the pump head from the hose and jammed the hose onto the presta valve. I was able to get about 30 psi in it.rode that home and patched everything up. Scored 4 Blackburn mini pumps for 5 dollars each on Scamazon after that..

I may need to adjust my meds as this is really triggering my OCD:
My club, which I love and support, typically has somewhat organized evening rides at 5PM starting when the clocks change (ie this week). They are typically on Tu/W/Th evenings. I actually do NOT participate in these rides based on my schedule, but I think they are a great option for those who can make them. The one rider who usually leads/posts these rides posted them last week on the website calendar. Two days later, they disappeared from the calendar. The next day they reappeared as all being "Cancelled."
I am suspecting this is an IT issue so I texted him to clarify, it is really confusing for people who view the website. He did not answer. I mentioned it to my three friends who are on the club's board, and none of them seemed to give a hoot.
Of course, I will let it go....but for some reason (OCD? Club Loyalty?) I feel the need to want to fix this (or clarify it, if the leader cannot ride he should find a sub so the rides can continue).

I also tried stuffing the tire with grass and leaves once on the mountain bike. Ended up riding a few miles on a rear flat. All downhill, luckily. That was the day the only person I saw was a lady with a llama. I asked her if she had a spare tube, she did not.
Bike magazine had a column about the leaves in the tire thing. It was titled something like "If a thousand people tell a lie, is it still a lie?"

I tried that once just to see if I could get it to work, I couldn't. Years ago I carried one of those adapters but not any more.

I’m starting to get the hang of this Pilates thing, and am genuinely feeling better as a result. I have had this neurological (I read it on the internet) condition where it feels like I am wearing socks when I am in fact barefoot, for at least a year. Gone in the first couple days. Wild.
