Great video! Trying to tell people in my tourist-trap town- especially on crowded weekends- that their bumper to bumper cages are not appreciated make me an instant enemy who is talking to a brick wall. I wish more people would listen; maybe they will watch this! (sort of like preaching to the choir here though).

Have you shown your video to the public at large or especailly to non-cycling groups? That would be the real acid test. As countertrike already said, you're preaching to the choir here.
If I wasn't already biking, I would think cycling was way too dangerous based on the first two segements of the video. Although you showed the more pleasant aspect of cycling, it may be coming too late in the video.
However, you're definitely on the right track.

Well, I wish I (or other riders) had more time and material to put into this sort of project, as I am sure the message could be delivered in more effective and creative ways.
The quality in this home-made quick'n'dirty video clip is not great, I basically recycled some bits and pieces from the ride footage on that particular day. It started as an experiment, and I thought I'd share it with "interested" parties. So yeah, I'm not trying to preach the unconvinced
All the best, Dan

That was really fun to watch. I like the way music stops at certain moments. Is that the tiny MD80 camera or the keychain camera? The video and the time stamp look very familiar.

Your message is "ride safe" but you appear to be riding on the wrong side of the street, and riding the wrong way on one-way streets, through most of the video. Most bicycle safety folks would not consider those to be safe riding practices!
What's the deal with that?
PS. I did enjoy watching the video and the music was also nice. I hope that what I interpreted as wrongway riding was just a case of an unclear camera angle.

I like this one. Of course, I like it because I made it. It's been here before.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you refer to when the traffic is at a standstill in the video ? In that case, there is no "flow of traffic" per say, as it's a gridlock (there is in fact no oncoming traffic at all, so I don't know what you are pointing to). I am just overtaking the lane of cars of my side, whilst securing a good distance between my bicycle and the vehicles (just in case, so I can swerve and avoid potential opening doors, or angry maneuvering cars that could suddenly exit the traffic jam).
Please explain. Cheers, Dan
