Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Craft Bib Sizing???

Looking to purchase a Craft bib from PBK and wanted to see what the fit is like. I'm currently wearing love2pedal bibs and i actually haven't had any issues with them. I've done 3+ hour rides with 60+ miles and they held up fine. Only thing is i haven't ridden a Castelli, Pearl Izumi, Craft, etc so i don't know if i'm missing out on anything. PBK has the Craft bibs pretty cheap so i thought i'd try one out. I ordered a Castelli ergo tre bib before in a medium and i thought it was for a 12 year old. Could barely get the thing on so that was a definite return. Didn't bother with a different size.

I want to know if the Craft bibs are gonna be extremely small like the Castelli i tried or can i get a normal size. I'm 5'11, weight fluctuates between 140-145, 32 waist. The love2pedal bibs i wear are a medium and they fit well. Thanks

It depends on which ones but I am 5' 10" and 145. I have a few pairs of Craft bibs and they are all small. I do like the Chamois on the Castelli bibs over the Craft.

I have one pair of Craft size large that fit like a medium, tight thighs. The pad doesn't have a covering on it so I'm basically sitting on foam rubber. It kinda grabs. I also have pair of XL winter bibs. The calf section is tight, the thighs are loose (I know, grow bigger thighs). The pad is covered in this pair and is fine. I sugest buy the next size up from your normal size.

I have some Craft XL winter bib tights and bib knickers. I am 6'2.75, 175, and 33" waist, 44" chest. I also find the XLs to be a little loose in the butt and upper thighs. The chamois fits a little loose but I don't find it uncomfortable. If I had it to do over again I would try on a Craft Large. I also have some Castelli bibs, bib tights, and bib knickers. I find Castelli XXL fits me perfectly and their XL can be a little too tight.
