another Selle SMP TRK user here on my main bike. One thing I learned was that a good highly tapered shape from the front to the back eases chafing issues. One of those wide cruiser saddles starts to cause problems for me pretty fast.

Sella Anatomica Selle Anatomica - World's most comfortable leather bicycle saddles

I used to ride a brooks, but found the SA to be better. It is lighter and more supple. I am 230lbs. The state of the art carbon frames have started to incorporate all sorts of vibration damping technology into the seatposts and stays, but none of this high tech is necessary if you ride on strip of leather. None of the high frequency vibrations will travel through the leather. Its really very comfortable.

I am a "super-clyde" 350lbs and recently purchased a Brooks Cambium and I think this seat is AWESOME! When I finally leveled the saddle it was amazing how comfy it is.

As for the SA, it seems that SA only has saddles for riders up to 250lbs.

I just got my Specialized Expedition-Gel this morning and rode a couple mile to test it, really feels good. A change to how it felt to ride the old saddle.

I just ordered it Judi, with my tailbone pain I been cranking my trike and want to return to the bike.
