I wonder how much the custom fork & frame bending added to the price.

Yes they are. Except for the stem, shifters, crankset, pedals, rear derailleur, foam hbar grips, rear freewheel and pump. Otherwise, factory fresh

3 bikes - $15 (Evansville, IN)

On the surface, this may not seem too wacky... other than the little clown bike. Not that different from every other kid's bike that pops up on Craigslist.

That is, until one realizes that this is an ad for kid's bikes from 2000 miles away, on the opposite side of the country. Hard to justify the commute to pick them up.

Perhaps I should send a note to the seller asking if he'll deliver.

Rather odd (but consistent) front brake cable routing.

Double Up

1980 Fuji Royale - 2 bikes - $150 (Greenville)

"Fuji Royale: Molybednum Steel 12 Speed Bikes - 24 and 27" 1980 models: $150 for both. Two for the price of less than one! Can be a collector's item or they're ready to ride!
Both function well and 27" model has new tires and recently ridden, 24" may require new tires. Garage kept, normal wear, never damaged."

https://eastnc.craigslist.org/bik/d/...602068936.html

(I'm posting this both here and in "Are You Looking..." because. Here, as the visual of the two bikes is interesting and wacky, with the top tubes aligned but the bottom brackets not. One has 27" tires and the other has 24"? Really? I guess, but..?)

Sort of sounds like it... maybe it's per half hour? Just funny that it's stealthed in the bicycles section. Who knows, someone was selling a Cannondale 420 in a couple of not-well disguised paint 'flavors', that bike only weighed 2oz

I’m guessing that seller is saying that one frame is 27” and the other frame is 24”

Yes, head tube lengths are clearly different. Probably his/hers. My wife & I bought a his/hers pair of identical-except-for-size MTBs when we first got into riding together. A few bikes later, I gave her my bike (with a shorter stem) and bought another of the same bike for myself, so we were his&hers again. But now I got the Krampus, so we're not so matchy-matchy on the trail. (It's a bit of an issue for me, also at restaurants it annoys me when people order the same dish)

Could be, but the one in the foreground looks 60 cm (~23.6") and the other maybe 54cm (~21.25")? Maybe it's the lean. but the top tubes line up while the BB of the one in foreground appears lower? I don't know. I think it's visually interesting.

Noticed that, but the top tubes line up, unless it's a product of a lean, which the shadows do not support? Maybe the bike in the foreground does have 24" wheels, while the background bike sports 27"?

Royales of that vintage would be 21" and 23" frames as pictured (with 19" and 25" and 27" also available) and each would have 27" wheels. No 24" wheel Royales.

The bike in Vienna (Virginia suburb of Washington D.C.) looks just like a Puch Rugby Sports but for the curved upper down tube, even to the skirt guard and taillight. If that is actually what is being sold in the ad it is well worth the asking price, especially if that young lady delivers it to you.

This is from one of those big volume flippers in the Bay Area. Geez, at least put on a tire that isn't painted! Weak butt.

I put this one together from an original KHS frame. All Free Agent BMX Bikes come from the KHS Company. This has been rebuilt and tuned up, so that you can enjoy riding it. I put the add up several months ago and the tires are still full! This is not anywhere near as bad as what bike stores sell nowadays. (KHS no longer exists... Rip) Its actually really old school, & Good Quality. I built it witb pride!!! You can have fun + save time + Long Lasting

In city of Richmond. Not SF. Not Oakland, heard of Richmond? Come here to get the bike

I shot this a few minutes ago on the campus where I work in NYC.

It's not really wacky, but it's a bit unusual.
