Chaffing - on my belly button?
I've been having a problem lately. I didn't really have it last year. Either the top of my bibs of the bottom of my jersey is digging into the skin around my belly button and if the ride is long enough it's doing damage. Like the skin is getting removed. I'm tempted to put some DuoDerm there for long rides. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

With that much of a weight loss, you probably have some loose skin folds there that you didn't have last year. Try some type of lubricant, like chamois cream, Body Glide, etc.

Or get a compression base layer and wear it under your bibs.
Is it with the same set of bibs each time or do you have this issue with all bibs?

A decent warm weather base layer or compression t-shirt works well, too. I really like aerotech's compression t-shirts, feels cool and comfortable. If you try them, the sizing is funky if you just go by the measurements - they're intentionally small and made to stretch.
EDIT: beaten on the compression suggestion.

Well, I'm actually UP 15 to 20lb from my riding weight last year. I wear a Craft supermesh base layer. I have compression base layers from UnderArmor but I dunno if I'd want to wear one while riding.

You wearing your base layer over or under your bib? I usually go over but I've heard you should go under. If I had chafing problems... I'd go under.
I actually like my under armor base layer. It's nice and compressy. I wouldn't swear that it kept me cooler though.

If you've a fold and the skin can't dry out.. well, basically, the skin shreds. Belly button is a good place for that, too.
Baby powder or corn starch are sometimes used to help dry out and heal an area.

To be clear, this isn't skin on skin...it's usually the end of a jersey zipper rubbing on my skin through my base layer.
