Columbus tubing: 26.8mm Seatpost

a couple quick question just outta curiosity:

1. Columbus tubing
if it's "said" Columbus with 26.8mm seatpost, possibly made in the mid-late '80s.
what tubing could it be?

i know SLX was 27.2mm.
Aelle? SL? majority of them are also 27.2 or 27.0, right?

if there's no sticker, is there any 'visible' clue on the frame?

many thanks in advance for your kind inputs.

I have an 83 Voyageur with Tange II tubing, and it's a 26.6 seatpost. Not Columbus, but since Tange II is supposed to be practically identical to Columbus SL.... It might help :-D

If it's an eighties Columbus frame that takes a 26.8 seatpost and the seat tube O.D. is 28.6, it's almost certainly Aelle. Aelle seat tubes had a wall thickness of 0.8mm, while Chromor, Thron, Brain, SL, SLX, Neuron, and EL-OS were 28.6 O.D. with 0.6mm wall thickness and took 27.2 seatposts. SP and SPX had 0.7mm wall thickness and took 27.0 seatposts.
