Bikes: A Blue One and 2 Green One's, then there's the Yellow one. And oh, yeah, a Black One. Did I mention the Red One?

Bianchi catalog calls it "Charcoal"; my artist wife calls it "Ralph Lauren Brown"
Either way, it's a brown bike from Ed White (Edorado Bianchi)

Original equipment matched 1982 Campione d'Italia specs. Frame date is late 1981.

My wife's Carlton Mixte. Reynolds 531 DB, Dura-Ace hubs, Brooks, Mavic and MAFAC. Great fun, light and zippy, she loves it and the patina.

I'd like to share a stunning bike that Wayne Bingham displayed at the 2016 Classic Rendezvous gathering. The bike is a 1981 Raleigh Superbe, built in Japan. It is fitted with the SunTour Superbe group, and sports an immaculate gold cromovelato finish. "Cromovelato" is (if I haven't forgotten the details) a tinted clear lacquer sprayed over a polished chrome base. This looks great, but tends to be quite fragile, as the lacquer has a hard time sticking to that polished chrome.

A 1977 Colnago I acquired from the builder 9yrs ago. It was a fun restore and cleanup, a joy to ride.

That is a tasteful Italian bike, unlike some I see that have so many flourishes because the designer didn't know when to stop.

I'm about the start a refurbishment of this 1980(?) Columbia. It was made by the Carlton workers who stayed behind in Worksop after the brand moved to Nottingham under Raleigh.
