I am going to assume you're not trolling us. That is a very valuable frame. Check ebay completed auctions.

Here is one completed auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HETCHINS-MAG...item2a1f896180

My advice to the OP is to NOT reveal how much you paid. Not that I'm not curious, but if you want to sell it it could complicate things.

Fabulous frame, really. The water bottles are a fine match and should stay with it. This needs careful cleaning and polishing. Very careful.

1. he already said it was at a garage sale. How would it complicate things to say whether he got it for $5 or $50? Either way it is a fraction of what he would try to sell it for, he clearly did not spend $500 or even $150 on something he knew nothing about at a garage sale.
2. the discovery of market price has nothing to do with 'how much one paid' for something. OP has a rare and nice bike. If someone wants it for $3000 they will pay $3000 for it whether OP paid $5 or $150 or $2000.

So he doesn't get annoying comments like this about the price.

More hope for you:

$9 for a box of parts - Huret Jubilee FD & RD, Universal 68 brakes and levers, handlebar, Shimano bar end shifters, a TA crankset, and a set of Look pedals.

$10 for a vise that commands $100-$195 on ebay.

It happens, you just kinda have to not be hunting for it, otherwise you're doomed to failure.

I did a town wide gig nearby a week ago and struggled to spend $2. This week at another town wide gig, I found the vise and some other useful stuff, like 45 sf of Tarkett diamond plate vinyl flooring, a Bell trunk mount bike rack, a 24" Univega MTB, and a 18V Dewalt Cordless Drill and Charger. The batteries are shot, but hey its still worth $35-$40 for the drill/charger, which will pay for the day's $30 spending and the gas too. ( I already own about every drill ever made!)
