ID: Not a Bianchi?
Bike for sale locally is decal’ed as a Bianchi but the pantograph on the fork and stays have an “S” marking. I don’t recognize the mark and am curious as to the builder / brand.
Chromed driveside chainstay, nice treatment on the dropout.
In another pic, there is an illegible serial number at top, front of head tube. No idea about threading, etc. from the ad copy, and I’m not curious enough to bother to contact seller.
The same pantographs showed up on a Viner decal’ed frame posted five years ago without any final ID, afaik. The German bicycle shop sticker (Stuttgart) may be a hint.
Any ideas?

I have no idea what make the bike is but the forks look to be Italian and almost identical to a set found on a Bianchi Rekord that came my way years ago (no pic anymore).
By chance, did you get a look at the drops? A summer, or two, ago, I found this Team Proctor (tacko-ed back wheel and all), at the dump. I still have the frame/fork set set aside for a build someday...
Needless to say, I was thrilled since Proctor bicycles were very high end and made in Canada (Edmonton, Alberta I believe). Was I surprised to discover that my "Team Proctor" was really a rebadged Bianchi. How did I know the bike was a Bianchi. The drops revealed the truth - Bianchi was stamped into each of them...

I feel like a bike with those S marks was posted before.

Unfortunately I don't have a good image of the dropouts, as I'm just using info from the CL ad.
Yep, that's the same thread I linked to as well - I think it's definitely the same set of pantographs, but with a different set of brand decals. unworthy1 suggested that frameset was likely lower-end due to the Zeta tubing sticker and the quality of the components hung on that frame.
The frameset in the current ad is missing its original components (except perhaps the headset, which I can't identify). The tubing sticker is mostly peeled off on this one as well, but what remains seems to match the Zeta sticker on the "Viner" bike.
To be clear, it's mostly just idle curiosity on my part, as the current bike is greatly overpriced (IMHO).

Could it possibly be Dutch company Shroder? Based on what I saw elsewhere on BF, they have diamond logo on seat stay cap. (And Shroder does start with: "S".

Part of me has been wishing for years someone will step up and start an index of all pantographs available. I've seen attempts but nothing exhaustively easy, to be oxymoronic.
Like, S with no serif, look at Stelbel. S with serif, look at Sannino. S with wreath under, look at Sabatini. S in an oval circle is Sancineto. S with three vertical lines above and below or a hollow rounded S is Saronni. S in a block is Somec. Cursive AS is Sabliere, etc.
I've seen this pantograph before half a dozen times and I can't remember for the life of me where so I can figure it out.

I'm sure it's the same as the "Viner Special Course" with Zeta tubing even down to the distinctive chrome plating on the driveside chainstay. Question is did Viner actually build this or did they just re-brand another builder's product to hit a price-point? And would Bianchi have ever done exactly the same with exactly the same "S" built frameset? I'd guess if Bianchigirll and Bianchi84 have not heard of this before then it's just some Bianchi decals slapped on a contract-built Viner or some other Italian (or Euro) make. This is a perfect mystery for MauriceMoss !
