Pretty much all of them. I'll have to pay attention to that next time I ride. It's been going on so long I don't really pay attention to it now. Just shake em out. Move em around, repeat.

Stones are no joke. One guy I ride with is extremely susceptible to them. He gets 4 or 5 a year. He's had to have several surgicaly removed. He gets big ones too. I once teased him for not riding because he felt one coming on. After I had mine I apologized to him the next time I saw him. This last summer the Dr. went in and put in 2 stents. To help him pass a couple. He got another stone the day they took out the stents while we were riding. I don't know how he does it.

Hey Bam, take a clean cloth and a little automotive polish to that scuff. Use the safe for clear coat variety, Turtle Wax makes some that'll work. Go slow, it'll polish light scuffs out no problem.

Shouldn’t be all of them, but everyone thinks it is. Three and a half fingers on the thumb side = wrist problem likely. Other 1.5 fingers on the pinky side is usually pressure on the palm or an issue at the elbow or both.

I have found that, for me, any kind of padding in my gloves gives me the first 3.5 fingers numb, even the gloves with channels that supposedly relieve pressure. It was only when I went to completely unpadded gloves that it went away.

Inspect the areas around the ground welds regularly.

I had two Cannondale road bikes - one with the 3.0 frame and then one with the 2.8 frame.

Still have the 3.0 (but broken down to just frame / fork).

The 2.8 frame had issues. I quit using it because it was out of alignment and one area of the weld (bead) at the head tube / top tube junction was ground away too much. We cut the frame near the head tube to inspect the frame where the weld was ground too much and it was eye opening thin.

the narrower bar can result in slight raise in rider position (as arms move in) - so sometimes the effect can be as much from the slight rise in rider position as much as the reduction in bar width

I'm assuming you've double checked the seat height on the Gunnar (?)

How about your fore-aft position (over the crank / pedals) - how does it compare to the Seven ?

I think the Gunnar is about 3 pounds heavier than the Seven. I have tweaked the saddle position a bit but have not done a deep dive mainly because I don't ride it very often.
The geometry is different. The wheelbase is about 3 inches longer (really), the head angle slacker, bottom bracket lower by nearly an inch, and the top tube is a bit longer.

Finally got my Strada Bianca 40s mounted today. They were nowhere near as bad/difficult as the reviews I have read make them out to be. I needed a lever for one tire to get it on, but was able to mount the other with just hands. The tire not being tire shaped made it awkward, but I was able to get both on and seated in 20 minutes.

Hoping that my always wide tire experiment works out- we will see.

test rode the 58 Emonda ALR 5 today. I really enjoyed it. Super responsive and felt good on the climbs, and the fit felt perfect. They offered me a fair deal on a trade in, but unfortunately my wife is not as enthusiastic about the idea, and it’s just not something we can do right now.

I had them do a look over on the cervelo. I want a new seat post since I have the seat slammed all the way back, and the shop noticed my large chain ring is worn out. Might be why the chain wore out so fast. The head set also sticks in one place.

I ordered a 53/39 chain rings, because Crits, but will be interesting with a 11/25 cassette. Also ordered Carbon seat post and a new head set. Last thing I need to find is some carbon bars.

Today we had 4 riders and it was nice at the start. Soon my friend with the Speedplay pedals had his cleat adapter come loose. He had to take the cleat off to get to the adapter screws but got it done quick enough. A few miles later came the first flat. He has new Hed wheels and running tubes. Had trouble last week with the rim tape moving and causing flats so he went to a bike shop and they re-taped it but apparently it's still migrating.
Anyway a few miles later I ran over a goat head and had to stop and put in a spare tube. NBD. Hed wheel guy gets 2 more flats, the last near a bike shop so we took the wheel in there and they put new tape and it looked pretty good and we actually made it back to the start without any more flats.

I've seen some rims that are tough to get tires on but these things are ridiculous. Even with a bead jack it's a struggle and he had to do it 3 times, the last time I had to help push the tire on. He was ready to heave the wheel into the bushes.

By the time we got to the last stretch it was hot and there was a stiff headwind. We were on a bike path parallel to the railroad tracks, only about 20 yards from the tracks. The train snuck up behind us, we couldn't hear it because of the wind, and the horn blasted right next to us. Scared the crap out of us. Few minutes later while waiting for a green light a truck with a 53' trailer turned in front of us and stopped before the tracks blocking the whole road. Weird day.
