I'm posting progress updates about the downtube pit filling in the "Saturday's Haul" thread: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-v...d-531-a-2.html

Trip to the framebuilder should happen this weekend

Just in case anyone missed the "PENDING" notice on the listing, RB1-luvr was the first to contact me and commit to it. I would have shipped it by now, but after reviewing the scaling over and over again, I asked him if I could clean the pitting and have it filled before shipping it off. I just don't feel right about selling it as-is.

Darn it, I re-read it now and just realized the confusion it might cause. Adjusted accordingly.

Thank you, RB1-luvr , for saving/me from myself. And yet, a 531 Ted Williams/Austro-Damiler just appeared locally for $50. When one door closes.......

Kurt,
It looks like you save me from spending $ that I promised myself not to spend. Now I'm going to finish the Bwilli frame and fork for my winter project. Smiles, MH
