Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I like it. I could use it to hold my bars on and when I'm not riding my wife could take the handlebar clamp off and use it as the personal item it appears to be modeled after to relieve some tension ifyouknowwhatimean.

mine looks better,it may not be as shiny but it has more class. vintage A&P stem from the 1940's or 1950's.

Looks like a modern implementation of the Major Taylor stem.

i think that stem is sexy.

that gold brake lever looks like the gran compe shot. It's two sided in case you can't tell. Never seen one in gold before, tho.

also, isn't that thing a bit small and...cold...to use in that way???

lol.... women would use anything; it's called body heat lol..... plus that quill is at least anatomically round.....

Other note: Damn that stem is expensive.... $119! I'm better stick with my elite....
Probably not too expensive for you NJS guys.... but it's not NJS and never will be!
