Is a legere any different than a regular monthlery?

Not sure, the one I have has a matte silver finish. The previous owner of the bike removed the rim label. I'm going off of the bike's spec sheet which was subject to change. I will send pic of it showing flat spot and finish.

your search shall go more smoothly if you spell the name as both France and MAVIC do

I am staring at the rim now. The label reads "Mavic Monthlery Legere"
There may be a place in France with a slightly different name, but the above is the name on the tubular rim I have.
