Is this an OK helmet mirror?
I decided that the Take a Look mirror wasn't working for me because the brass (or plastic or whatever they are) holders just didn't fit onto my particular helmet very well. I'm now looking for a Velcro-mounted helmet mirror, and I saw this online:
Race Icon Bike Helmet Mirror
Anybody know anything about this one? Or can recommend a similar one?

Take a look makes a helmet adaptor- a molded piece that the mount, which is really designed to fit on eyeglass frames, slides securely into. I actually have mine attached to the visor on my helmet- I know a roadie using a mtn. helmet... I have a couple of small zip-ties holding it securely. It has been on my last 4 helmets, and it is a far better mirror than anything else I have ever tried. i saw that mirror on Amazon today. Looks nice enough, but I would worry that the screws might strip out after being tightened over time.

After I switched to a trekking handlebar I couldn't use my Mirrcycle bar end mirror anymore, so I ordered one of these, after seeing it recommended several times here - what further convinced me was watching the installation video:
Welcome To HubBub Online
I should have had it by now, but USPS managed to screw up my address. I know it's their fault and not HubBub's because the invoice showed the correct address, while the USPS site showed the messed up one.
Diane at HubBub was very quick to respond and send out another mirror - looks like excellent customer service to me.

Looked at Monkey Mirrors, but the installation video says you need someone else to help you install it.

I currently have the Monkey mirror because it has the bike shop logo on it. I've also used the CycleAware Reflex mirror in the past. Any mirror that works in your riding situation and you like it then it's ok.
