That's insane, in the best possible way.

Also a smokin deal IMO.

Lots of high-end French bikes with metric 531? A likely PX-10 I was recently working on takes a 26.6 post.

Yes this one sparked my interest as I recently picked up a late 50’s, early 60’s British path racer frame. He told me it was an odd seat post size but I promptly forgot what he said - maybe 26.6?

It’s Reynolds 531 butted and a 26.8 is too big and a 26.4 fork crown fits closely but has a very, very slight bit of play.

Early 70s Fuji, too, which I think used Ishiwata tubing.

Pretty sure my low end mid 80s Ishiwata Nishiki is a 26.6.

Some French and Swiss frames. I'm looking for an excellent condition 26.6 Nuovo Record SP for an early/mid 70s (orange) Motobecane Team Champion I'm building. Another member recently bought a 26.6 NR for his Allegro build. I pointed it out to him on eBay. A couple of weeks later, I bought the Team Champion frame and now need one myself.

Tempted on this Super Record but the TC is a full NR setup. If anyone has a nice 28.6 NR, please let me know.

The Alex Singer in the basement takes a 26.6 post perfectly. Metric 531db tubing. Had a LeJeune that also took 26.6. Several Mondia's all were 26.4. Some experience that many 531 frames with metric tubing take 26.4, perhaps there are different seat tubes in a set, but sometimes I think 26.4 is default for a tube that if prepped, honed or reamed, should be 26.6.

That would be so easy to shim for any frame.

My '82 Fuji Monterey and '86 Fuji Suncrest MTB are 26,6 as well and also not worthy of NOS Campy LOL.
