Schwinn Phantoms?

One thing tht has sort of surprised me, lo these long months, is that I have seen not one thread devoted to, or even asking about, Schwinn Phantoms. What amazing bikes! Obviously, the Black Phantom is the one everyone knows, but they came i a variety of amazing other colors. What bike model is more classic or vintage? Why no love for the venerable Schwinn Phantoms?

There are older threads if you search. Phantoms are somewhat rare, some not that many owners.

C&V tends to skew towards road bikes from 1970-1990. You’ll find more balloon talk on The Cabe. Phantoms are definitely cool!

I did a search, didn't see anything. Maybe I didn't go back far enough.

Sure they're rare, but I've seen two threads on Cinelli Monzas in the last three months alone, and there are like, less than 10 of those!

Dear Old Dad got a new Black Phantom for me in 1950 or maybe 1951. Rode it school for years until it was stolen. All the speedy kids turned the handlebars upside down to make the bike faster so of course I had done that. Totally cool bike but the horn was crap.
