Enduro racing help!!

OK i have 1 week till i get to buy a new ride but im mixed about full suspension vs hardtail, I like to do enduros like 6 and 12 hours and 24s. the courses have quite a bit of climbing but lots of roots and rocks. the fully i want has 4in of travel and weights 30lbs the hardtail i want weighs 28 my current bike weighs 29 pounds. So do yall think the fully would be better for xc racing and enduros or the hardtail
