Unless your current bike isn't able to do something you want it too, there is no advantage to buying a new bike.

Two possible reasons to get a new bike:
1. You are trying to be more competitive in racing. An aero bike will let you ride faster in many situations than a non-aero bike at the limits of bike performance. THe faster you go the more an aero bike will help, the slower you go the less difference it makes.
2. You want to tackle rougher terrain than is feasible on a road bike with 25mm tires. Modern 'endurance road' and 'gravel' bikes are able to fit wider tires so you can safely stray from the perfectly smooth asphalt.

THe only other thing I can think of is if the bike is a poor fit. There are probably adjustments you can make to the fit, but sometimes a badly fitted bike is too far from ideal and you need to replace to get comfortable.
