We've had cats for decades, and none of them attacked venetian blinds (the real, wooden ones) or linen roller shades -- though they've chewed our computer/phone charging cords to bits -- but I can see how those sheers would be an invitation to commit mayhem.

@Robvolz does this neighbor have any teenagers? Perhaps they are sneaking out. lol. Also of note is his perfect lawn. I maintain that grass is an archaic idea that we should move away from, but I'll admit his is impressive! Seems like a perfectionist and assuming that he's a good friend of yours that he's a decent guy?

Those Colnago shutters have obviously been to the shutterbuilder and new glue-ons have been added under the repaint.
