Now we know what East Hill has been up to....kidding, though, I wonder if she's painted her Bianchi yet.

Otherwise,
First, yoiu have to wonder what they were doing when they came up with the idea.
Then, which one of the bunch decided on posting to CL.
Then, they actually did it.

I'll have what they're having.

No, not yet! Still mulling over the build, but mostly mulling over the colour...

Mudguards or no?

Hmmm....

Carefully looking at the bike, I figured it was too tall a frame for East Hill. Sorry 'bout that, you'll find yourself a new one, yet.

Uh, you have to mull over the color on a Bianchi? They paint them in something other than celeste?

It is a bit on the large size, but I think I could stretch up to it.

I'm thinking about a nice pink for the Bianchi .

Given the time frame of construction, I think pink frame, celeste fork, and dark teal lettering would be pretty neat. White saddle, wrap and cables. So Bianchi, so East Hill.

The bike was originally blue with white, but those days are long gone.....

That color scheme would only work if you had the right pink color. It would have to be a bright pink very vibrant and no where near a pastel. Something almost a little pinker than a fuschia, that would be great with the teal and white. I had a ski uniform from when I taught up at Stevens Pass that were those colors. WOW there was no missing us that is for sure. I even went as far as to get pink pants.

Go for it Easthill. Oh and the purple little stingray is so cute.

I'm a man. There's only one pink.
If it wasn't for Bianchi, there would only be one green, British Racing Green.

Youse gals...

British Racing Green would be very nice, but unfortunately, I am not speedy enough to use it!

Mstrpete, I didn't see what you were sending me to (it had been deleted ), but it was probably a nice tiny bike .

Bicycle has some history to it...ridden by Lance Armstrong for 3 secret, non-televised stages of the Tour de France...

Vintage “rain” bike. Duct tape included - $275 (wet north)

I bet you have always wanted a winter or “rain” bike. Why train indoors (tedious!) when you can thrash an old beater bike and not fret about cleaning out the drive train grunge every time? This brute fits nearly everyone with its adaptable stand over which varies from 20 inches to only 8 inches (with top bar removed) This bike comes complete with fenders, pump, flat kit and period correct “tape-in” style pedals (extremely secure!-and works with all shoe types) Act now and I will include entire roll of duct tape which should get you thru March. Weighs an astonishing 29.5 lbs! Color is countrified crimson. This bike won’t last!!!

Easthill, it was a 20" girl's Stingray, apparently a '67, going for $75. Who else would I think of?
